Grid Paint Shop Pro Tutorial

Tutorial

  1. Open your image in Paint Shop Pro.

  2. Go to Layers > New Raster Layer and click OK.
  3. Go to File > New. Set both the height and width to 20 pixels and the background color to transparent.

  4. Select the Brush Tool Brush Tool. Change the settings to:
    Opacity 100
    Hardness 100
    Size 1
  5. Make the Foreground Colour white.
  6. Paint a line along the right and bottom of the image. You can make it a dotted or dashed line if you want. The example below is zoomed in at 600% and the lines are shown in black so you can see them better.

  7. Go back to the original image.
  8. Click on the Foreground Colour.
  9. Change it to Pattern.
  10. Select your grid image from the list.
  11. Select the Flood Fill Tool Flood Fill Tool.
  12. Click on your image.
  13. Go to Layers > Properties.
  14. Change the Blend Mode to Soft Light. Click OK.
  15. Go to File > Save As and save your image.
